Craving Nachos ???
I came across this post on my blog, and I wanted to post it mostly to remind myself. I need to go to Costco and get my favorite healthy crackers this weekend, instead of eating tortilla chips !
Making Healthier Choices
When I got out of the meeting I was really hungry and I was craving nachos, but being that I’m working towards being healthy and my weight loss goals I can’t eat nachos like I used to — Yes ?
Sssh ! I can still have nachos once in a while, if I eat them the healthy way.
1. Healthy flax seed crackers
2. I use healthy beans. You can make your own beans from scratch, or buy beans that are of a healthy variety.
3. I can use a tiny bit of cheese. Measure it out and use it sparely. 1 oz
4. A better choice for sour cream is plain greek yogurt. It is an amazing healthy alternative.
5. Fresh sliced avocado
6. Fresh homemade salsa
Instead of using chips I love to use healthy flax seed crackers. They have some great ones at Costco.
Combine my ideas for a healthy alternative to nachos.
